Welcome to the Wipes on Trash guild website. We're a 10-man progression raiding guild on the Arathor realm. If you're interested in joining our guild, please check out the recruitment link on the left.
Current raid times:
We currently raid Sunday - Tuesday from 8:30 to 11:30.
I joined this guild over 2 years ago after our previous one, Forsaken Sunrise, disbanded and a couple of ex-members decided to reform under a new name to continue raiding. What followed were, for me personally, the 2 best years of my WoW playing days.
Despite all of the roster changes through those 2 years, we mantained a top 10 server ranking and got to experience content when it mattered, and for me personally that is the reason that keeps me playing this game.
But as we all know, real life sometimes gets in the way and sadly, today was our last progression raid together as a guild. I know that each and every one of you that wants to keep raiding will find a home pretty quickly, and in my case i have applied to another guild and will be joining them shortly.
I never thought i could consider people that i've never met in real life as friends, but that is exactly what all of you are to me. I have enjoyed all the hours i spent with you guys and will really miss it.
Thanks for the memories,
We're starting Heroic FL this week and we need another tank and a dps (but not another hunter). If you're a tank who is reliable and extremely raid aware or a dps who can do 20k+ but is also willing to take on other duties for the good of the raid, please put in an app.
We sure had a weird raid night. First, we had to take a 35-minute break after just two or three pulls so Toby could go help his mom. Then we had to swap Firedealer out after some recurrent heavy lag problems. All in all, we raided less than two hours out of our scheduled three.
But, we killed the bastard. 6/7.
5/7 now and moving along.
We got off to a late start in the Firelands after taking a break for the 4th of July weekend, but we're getting back on track. Baleroc dies tonight.
Edit: Baleroc went down the next night. We're 4/7 and hoping to progress further this week.
We're currently 12/12 normal and 3/13 heroic.
If you're interested in organizing alt runs on off nights, fucking go for it. We are not going to have an *official* second group and are not going to have an official raid leader or officer to manage a second group. I and some of the other officers *may* lead other runs, but none of us is willing to be committed to a second group right now. My leading or participating in alt runs will be very dependent on my work and school commitments. I do not want the hassle or drama that I had trying to keep a second group going in WotLK.
I do hope that folks will organize runs, I just want to stay focused on my primary raid group. If you are organizing a run and want it posted in the message of the day, ask me or one of the other officers and we'll put it up for you.
